not all who wander are lost
CHARACTERS: Elrond and YOU
LOCATION: Medbay, random lift, gardens, and anywhere in between
WARNINGS: One grumpy elf?
SUMMARY: Elves don't get sick. Really.
NOTES: Seriously, run into Elrond wherever your heart fancies. I will happily roll with it!
In hindsight, Elrond should have expected the lift doors to get stuck, or to be trapped in a lift between floors. Or, as it happened no less than three times between medbay and the gardens, be dropped off on the wrong floor entirely. In hindsight, it all makes perfect. He feels absolutely awful, so why shouldn't it be completely impossible to actually get to where he's going without ridiculous difficulty?
He remembers once or twice feeling badly, but nothing quite like this. He had been heartsick before and physical symptoms had manifested, but never actually physically ill. It was a wonderful new experience. Absolutely. He had never looked upon his human heritage with disdain, but right now, he's rather grateful that he'd never fallen sick before.
Then again, had he fallen ill before, he might be handling this with more aplomb. (He thinks as a door refuses to open again. He might not have endured it much better, come to think of it.) He takes a breath, closes his eyes, and once again tries the door.
He would really love to get to the garden any time now. Just... any time.

Not that she was going admit to being sick herself and even tried to look less miserable than she felt jut for the sake of keeping anyone from fussing over her.

So he did. There are several wonderful places for such a thing. Hanna catches his eye quickly and he motions her forward.

"You don't look too well." Stating the obvious, yes, but Hanan couldn't help herself.

"No, I do not." There was also no sense in lying about it, either. "How do you fare?"
no subject
It was likely only half convincing, tired as she looked herself and with the sneeze that would immediately follow.
"Have you tried soup?"

If she sat and talked with him, then she was resting and that was good enough. "I have not. I do not usually fall ill."
no subject
"It's supposed to help when you're sick."

"I could get some for you."

"I do not need it now."

"I'm alright. Elizabeth has been keeping a close eye on me since this started." What she doesn't mention is that she snuck out.

She has been trying to get used to it though. Hanna's been sharing rooms with her friends and actually sleeping a bit more regularly. Not enough to really make everyone happy but enough.
