CHARACTERS: Wesley Gibson & Raven Darkholme
LOCATION: 005 » 199
WARNINGS: wesley's got a potty mouth.
SUMMARY: oh just tawkin. they've got THINGS they need to resolve.
[ Wes finally ( finally, finally. felt like a trillion years because she can't stand when people are mad at her, people she cares about. ) texts her, but Raven doesn't answer back, not when it's easier to tuck her comm away in her pocket and bolt out of her room, making a pit stop at the bar ( "hey!" -- "just need to borrow this, sorry!" ) before finally heading up to level five, to Wesley's old room. it's unlocked, and surprisingly lived-in ( hello giant mousey... ), but it's fine, she'll wait here. with the mouse. rat. why does he have a rat? whatever, it doesn't matter. she'll sit right here on the ( seemingly ) unused bed and not touch anything and and wait for him to come talk to her because she can't afford to lose him again, she won't. the damn ship already took him once ( took so many people ), so she won't mess up this second chance. she'll wait and wait and wait, blue hands wrapped tight around a bottle of something that smells absolutely awful, but she's not about to show up empty handed when he asked her to bring something to drink.
it's pathetic, probably, being this obsessed over gaining someone's trust back. someone that has just as much to apologize for, as far as she's concerned, but it doesn't really matter. they might yell and fight and bicker more than actually apologize, but it's a start. it's something. she won't mess this up. she won't.

the gunsmith. the butcher. the repairman. sloan. fox. she'd been here before- really here -so what happens if she finds her way back again? what'd happen if that'd really been sloan who'd pulled that gun on him? what if-
he's at his other room without really understanding how he got there. all he knows is that his gun is still in his hand; has barely left it since the fog disappeared. the other, he can feel against his back. it's the only way he feels any shred of safety around this ship anymore, but even he can't fool himself in to believing he can fight everything that comes at him here.
when he finally makes it through the door, the gun is pointed at the bed; at raven. it takes him a moment too long to drop it away again, even once he catches up to just what he's doing. door shut and locked, he makes a mental note to change the locks. no, strike that. to consider changing the locks and then realize that he doesn't want to. but he can make that attempt at least.]
Guess I shouldn't be surprised you're here already.
