CHARACTERS: Howard Stark compressibility and Toshiko Sato sorted
LOCATION: Starting at Tosh's room, who knows from there.
WARNINGS: science talk, Torchwood angst
SUMMARY: Tosh promised to tell Howard about the pendant. He's intrigued.
NOTES: Backdated to within a couple days of the jump.
Once the post-jump chaos settles down and everyone has had a chance to return to what passes as their own normal schedules, Tosh messages Howard and extends an offer. If he'll come by to see her whenever he's free from the labs, she'll make good on that promised explanation.
She has the pendant wrapped up tightly in piece of cloth from storage (maybe it was a handkerchief at one time? she wasn't as interested in its origins as its usefulness) and hidden in the pocket of her leather coat. It isn't ideal, but until she can decide on a truly safe place, one that no one else will be able to access, then it stays with her at all times.
She begged a cup of coffee off Ianto, just one, but she hasn't had more than a sip or two, figuring she'll share it with Howard when he gets there as a sort of thank-you. Or an apology for the things she's about to tell him.
