It made sense when LB spoke. Normally, when other people Cibo listened to tried to explain something, none of it really clicked. She always needed more of an explanation from them. Perhaps LB had the advantage of a visual example, though.

As the suit blended with the wall, the illusion that it disappeared entirely overwhelmed her visual senses briefly. Cibo's eyes had to focus for a moment to find it again. Then she moved in different positions to view it from different angles — Still it seemed to blend.

The device fascinated her scientific mind. Not to mention she could easily imagine a creature having the same talent naturally. It must have taken at least years of development to replicate such a thing mechanically. Which wouldn't be too long in comparison to most projects that Cibo previously worked on.

"I'm almost surprised to see such technology so similar to what I know. Well, nothing quite like this, but it would be within my capability with time..." The sentence trailed and soon replaced with a smile, "It's truly amazing."
