"I suppose I am something of an engineer, though I do not create machines myself. I consider myself more of a scientist, really." Even when she was responsible for a lot of the computer-work that went into her experiments, it never occurred to her that she qualified to be a mechanical engineer.

"The Builders maintain the structural integrity of the City. They constantly rebuild and build upon whatever they have already created. Normally, we have no systematic control of their kind, but I once took over one's programming." She paused for a moment before she spoke again, "It was far more difficult than my physical body could handle, though, so the process killed me after a few minutes."
