and when you can't hear a sound
CHARACTERS: OTA with Cibo
LOCATION: Anywhere
WARNINGS: None. Yet.
SUMMARY: Cibo is suffering memory corruption from power overload. While she recovers she's just wandering about like a lost child and taking in bits of information until the jump occurs. She'll remember only bits of pieces when her memory is restored.
NOTES: Backdated to Nov.2-ish. Poor planning on my part! Oops! Started by shenanigans still in the works. For more info.
Cibo woke from an odd sort of darkness. A sleep that left her body weaker than she remembered. Except she couldn't remember. When she tried to think of where she was, or what had happened, nothing came to mind. Nothing. There was nothing to hint at what happened to her and nothing to help her connect dots. All she knew was that she was in some room, in some place, somewhere.
It didn't frighten her though. She didn't feel anything at all, really. She simply explored the mobility of her hands and feet; walking out of her room and into the halls. Even the simple way the door moved open was fascinating — moth to a flame — her attention remained with it as she continued down the hall, watching for other small things that caught her attention.
Everything seemed so unfamiliar to her. So strange and new.
ooc stuff:
If she is approached on the first two days, her mind will be extremely vulnerable to any sort of influence. No memory or recognition to tell her otherwise. Perhaps she will even show a slight dependency if you show interest or importance. (Go mold a small child's mind while it's still mushy!)
On the third and fourth days, Cibo will begin to remember and show small amounts of emotions. She'll become more dependent on those she recognizes, more frightened of those she barely knows. And less likely to listen to someone who she doesn't know well.
Some point on day five (the day before the jump), she'll finally be able to put names/faces with vague memories. At this point, she'll likely try to seek out people before getting herself to her gravcouch for the jump. (Which she might need a reminder for, anyone who wants to help with that.)
