John's going past the new 013 lockers and thinks about how the 012 lockers were the new ones during the last jump. It strikes him as weird that people get assigned new numbers that are in turn linked to their own lockers and rooms. No one around here repeats or reuses any of the old numbers, right? Not for the lockers, at least. But he's heard of people moving into different rooms or occupying vacant ones, and he vaguely wonders exactly how that works.
Oh hey, a person. Someone looking kind of sick, standing at a locker.
"Hey. You doing alright?" He approaches, casually but cautiously. Hey, never know if anyone here will suddenly react weird and apeshit or whatnot. "People say it gets easier to deal with the second time around, but that's probably not true for everyone."
