The healing process was fascinating to watch and Bela appreciated the fact that he did it in the first place because she wasn't looking forward to explaining the wound to the medical personnel. She didn't feel any pain either, which was always a plus.

"You look much better after that," Bela observed with a smile. "Suppose I must have very nourishing blood." Which shouldn't be surprising. She was young and healthy and fully of life.
