idkmybffbloodwing: (So where's that loot piñata?)

The call of loot was impossible for Mordecai to resist. When he'd heard the Scylla had been located, he'd headed straight for it, concerned that if he didn't act before the ones who thought they were in charge started organizing their little "expeditions", he wouldn't find anything of value to grab. Of course, determining what was valuable and what wasn't was tricky, and he only had so much space to carry things that weren't able to be digistructed. He already had picked up a comm unit off of the pirate he'd killed, and while he hadn't had a chance to go through it yet, he didn't think there was much use in grabbing more of those. Anything bolted down or too large to be carried was passed up.

By the time he'd gone through the crew rooms and looked over a few of the bodies near the entrance, he'd only really picked up a few trinkets - rings, a necklace, a set of earrings - and the contents of several wallets, just on the off chance that they ever got off the ship but remained in this strange location in time and space. Disappointed with the haul, he made his way toward the engineering section of the ship, curious to see what might lie in there.

Before long, he heard movement. Evidently he wasn't the only one who'd come here early. Mijo perked up a little, gripping his shoulder - because typically, when everything was quiet and the two of them were poking around empty rooms and corridors, rats lurked nearby, and the little bird probably thought it was time to hunt. "Tómalo con calma, pajaríto," he muttered, as he readied a revolver, just in case, and rounded the corner.
