Entry tags:
they twist and they shout for
CHARACTERS: Spock, Sulu, Scotty, Seven of Nine, and whoever else was in the illustrious away team club.
LOCATION: The Cyllene, day 2.
WARNINGS: Creepiness probably. Pseudo-science that has no basis in actual reality.
SUMMARY: The away team encounters problems.
NOTES: Backdated, obvs. This log brought to you by the letter S!
[ If he were to be honest, the fact that this had degenerated from a diplomatic mission to one of scavenging disappointed Spock greatly. He'd had high hopes for the Cyllene. It could very well have been their first link to civilization since finding themselves aboard the Tranquility. Its desertion had been a blow, but the lack of communications had been more so distressing. Irrationally, illogically, it felt as though there were something conspiring against them.
The tactile, visceral feelings he read from the very walls of the station certainly weren't helping that assessment. It would not, however, be reasonable to relate them to his crew. Not yet. ]
Mr. Sulu, [ He turns momentarily to face the officer in question, only taking peripheral note of the readings displaying on his scientific tricorder. Again, given the irrational, illogical feelings associated with this place, they seem almost as irrelevant here as they were actually aboard the ship.] we should attempt to locate the station's stabilization unit. There may be sections from it worth returning to the Tranquility.
