[The first thing Elrond does is head for the showers. He has endured much in his lifetime, but for some reason that slightly-gelatinous not-quite-liquid coating his skin and hair is nigh impossible to endure. So first thing is always first. (Nearly always. There might be an exception someday.)
Dressed and damp hair tied back with a simple leather thong, he makes his way back to the grav-couches. Someone might need help. That's what he tells himself, but he somehow finds himself seeking familiar faces. Not always approaching. Just looking to see who has come with them on this jump and who has left.
(There's still one face gone and, as much as he tries to tell himself that to see Maglor again had been a miracle unasked for and unexpected, he still looks.)
He's beginning to find a routine after these jumps: lockers and showers, than roaming (read: loitering) around the medbay in case he's needed, and finally meandering to the gardens for a solid few hours.
