SUMMARY: Five mostly-humans walk into a ship, five mostly-humans might not walk back out

After a month of steadily increasing temperatures, the heat has settled into the walls and deck of the ship - warming the cool metal into something lukewarm like a creature recently dead or a monster in hibernation. There are secrets and danger here: winding down, down, down into the darkness of the ship's uncharted, changing corridors - something more than just the flicker of something barely tangible from the edge of peripheral vision.
The Tranquility is a beast slowly chewing its way through some remote end of the universe, very much alive and ready to swallow anything that strays too far from the beaten paths.
