3rd fright | Fear is a tyrant and a despot, more terrible than the rack, more potent than the snake.
CHARACTERS: The one that likes disco music and the one that likes bags over his head, AKA Moriarty and Crane
LOCATION: Library
WARNINGS: SO MUCH CRAZY.
SUMMARY: Crane is putting the final touches to his plans. Moriarty can't decide what to do with the Scarecrow.
NOTES: Closed. D:
Crane is in high spirits. 'High spirits' is all relative--but he does have a plan and it's a beautiful, beautiful one. It's so very close--it's at his fingertips, and all he has to do is reach. Those canisters will be used, now that he's aware he can make more. It takes some adjustments, but he can.
It's why he's sitting at a table in the library, having manage to found a simple notepad and a pen. He has nothing against computers but they're not personal, they feel wrong when it comes to things like jotting down chemical formulas, like there's not enough physical contact. Pen and paper is what makes a lot of things beautiful, he thinks. That, and fear.
He's taking a break--celebrating, as it were, in a way that only Jonathan Crane can. There's a psychology textbook open he's found, but it's not on a specific page. No--he's not even looking at it. His undivided attention is on his list, a simple exercise he tests himself with. Listing as many phobias as he can in alphabetical order. It's quite a long list.
Samhainophobia - halloween
Sarmassophobia- love play (Malaxophobia)
Satanophobia- Satan
Scabiophobia- scabies
Scelerophobia - 'bad men'
Appropriate, that last one.
