( closed ) it comes awake and i can't control it
CHARACTERS: Mason Lockwood, Tommy Conlon, Remus Lupin, Re-l Mayer.
LOCATION: Some... fairly empty part of the ship. Probably a random hallway somewhere or something.
WARNINGS: Blood, violence, probably some cursing.
SUMMARY: Mason goes through his third change on the ship and runs into some people. And by runs into, I mean attacks and then gets locked up by.
NOTES: There were some other people who wanted to be involved in this, so if anyone still does, message me and we'll figure something out! Otherwise there's always next time~Also, I apologize if I suck horrendously with the fighting in this ghajkgahk Also! There will be a separate thread for Re-l and Mason~
[ Three months on this stupid ship and Mason still hasn't quite figured out his cycles yet. He's getting there, but when he starts feeling the tug in his gut that he'd usually get the day of the full moon, he's caught off guard. Thankfully, he's got his chains and his Wolfsbane already packed in the duffel bag he found in his locker the first time he woke up here, so it's not like he's entirely unprepared. He just doesn't know where he's going to go this time.
He grabs the necessary equipment and manages to slip out of the passengers quarters without getting too much attention, and then he makes his way towards the Brig. Unfortunately, there's too many people hanging out in that section of the ship, so he backtracks and decides to explore some territory he has yet to set foot in. He can feel his skin crawling already, so he moves a little faster, hand gripping the strap of his bag as he prays the transformation doesn't catch him off guard and force him to change right there in front of everyone. It's never happened before, but he always had the moon cycles to go off of there; here, in space, he has absolutely no idea if any part of him - werewolf or otherwise - has changed.
Once he finally finds a place that should work well enough, he grabs his Wolfsbane infused water out of his bag so he can start sipping while he sets up the chains. It burns going down (always has, always will) but he forces himself to keep moving. He manages to get one leg strapped in and about a fourth of the water down before his knees buckle beneath him and he falls to the floor.
The screaming starts before he has a chance to clamp his mouth shut, covering the sounds of ripping clothes as his body starts to change. Bones and muscles shifting, skin stretching, bones snapping and reshaping; it's gotten easier since that first time after he triggered the curse but he knows it'll never be painless. He just prays, with everything he is, that no one will wander into this part of the ship. That maybe, just maybe, he'll get away with not hurting anyone even though he's basically free of his restraints. ]

Where dogs -- wolves? Tyke would know, he thinks -- come into that isn't so obvious, but Tommy doesn't have a lot of time to think once it starts running at him. He doesn't like his own odds if he runs, so he twists to the side instead, making his shoulder the target and bunching his hand into a fist down low so that, if and when the dog jumps at him, he'll have a chance to punch up into its exposed stomach while it tries to get its teeth in him. ]

There's a part of him, even in his wolf form, that realizes going for the obvious shot isn't the best move, but he doesn't care. He just wants to tear this guy apart as fast and as brutally as he can. Once he's done that, he'll take off. ]

His back leg buckles under the weight and the force of the impact, but he locks his knee, and it holds. He can feel a rivulet of blood starting to trickle down his arm but ignores it and punches up. He shifts his weight forward at the same time, hoping that the combination of the punch and the sudden push forward will shake the dog off. ]
i'm thinking a couple more hits on both sides, then remus can come in. y/n/cake?
His expression pretty clearly reads Bring it on because the wolf knows the wound in Tommy's shoulder will affect him no matter how hard he tries to ignore it. He's just hoping, as much as wolf brain can, that it'll be enough to throw him off his game so Mason can finish this off before someone else comes along. ]
CAKE! ahem i mean yes that totally works for me.
But Tommy's also reached that point he gets to in a fight where it doesn't matter. Nothing matters outside the question of what he does next. There isn't another thought in his head. So in a way, as he digs his foot into the floor and then uses that to push himself forward -- trying to rush the dog and keep it off balance -- he feels better right now than he has for days. ]
\o/ /also gives you cake
It doesn't matter to him what part of Tommy he gets to; all that matters is ripping him to shreds, tasting the blood in his mouth. The sastifcation of the kill. This is what he desperately wants to fight when he's human - it's why he chains himself up and suffers through as much Wolfsbane as he can swallow before the change hits - but it's the only thing the wolf cares about. It doesn't even matter if he might be putting himself into a position that could easily give Tommy the upper hand, even for a moment, because the wolf believes that he'll always find some way to pull through.
After all, he's bigger and faster and isn't bleeding from the shoulder. ]
eats it up happily with a spoon!
With humans, you want to go for the face because that's the easiest knock out. With this dog, going for the face is just getting him bitten. So Tommy adjusts and his next move is to push forward and grab out for a leg or something else he can wrench, if only he manages to get a good enough grip. ]
a... spoon. WHATEVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT, I GUESS.
The howl he lets out is definitely one of pain, there's no mistaking it, but Mason won't be giving up that easily. If he can just manage to shake Tommy's hand off his leg, he should be able to focus away from the pain just long enough to at least knock him unconscious. ]

Apparently so. Remus blanches as he turns the corner; the scene before him is something out of his nightmares. Blood on a floor, someone injured, a wolf with a bloody muzzle-- for a moment Remus stares, his stomach turning, horror overwhelming him.
Rushing forward, he throws himself against Mason, gritting his teeth. It doesn't matter if Mason bites him; he's already a werewolf.]
Get up! Get up and run, you have to go!
