CHARACTERS: Odessa Knutson, and various.
LOCATION: Here, there, and everywhere.
WARNINGS: Possibilities of violence, language, sexual themes.
SUMMARY: Odessa wanders the ship, meets up with people. /lame synopsis
NOTES: Tossing up some general starters. Feel free to add settings of your own. I promise I can find a logical enough reason for Odessa to find her way there. We'll make things happen.
This isn't the life Odessa imagined she'd have, but neither is the one she left behind. This place has its benefits. For instance, there is something like a 99% reduction in the amount of people that want her dead. That's nice. Anyway, she perhaps hasn't had as long a route to acceptance as many of her fellow passengers have had. She woke up in her pod just like the last jump, so it's not all just some dream, and that suits her just fine.
Captivity aboard the ship is less than ideal, though. Escaping to Arima proved to be an utter disaster, however, between the whole diabolical mind control bit, and the murderous locals, and Odessa isn't keen to make another attempt anytime soon. She's going to need a lot more data about what sort of universe she's found herself in before she can make any judgements about the best place to escape to. Talks overheard of rationed oxygen on other settlements may mean that the deal on the Tranquility isn't so bad after all.
Meaning her next plan of attack is simply to get comfortable.
