I won't tell you that I told you so
CHARACTERS: Stephanie Brown and Timothy Drake-Wayne
LOCATION: Steph's room
WARNINGS: talk of violence, strongish language maybe?
SUMMARY: Tim checks up on Steph post fear gas plot after taking care of Crane.
NOTES: Haven't actually done the thing with Crane yet, so glossing over some details for now.
The cowl was safely tucked away in its usual spot, not needed for the moment. This brief moment of peace was starting to look more fragile with everything she read on the network. Steph was sprawled out on her bed, comm devices in hand, pouring over everything she could access about the list and the people affected. Even on a ship in space there is no downtime when you wear a cape.
The thing with Crane had been mostly unexpected... but not completely. She'd known he wasn't to be trusted and was pretty damn proud of this new team, if you could call it a team. A few scattered heroes from different universes and different times, all working together. He would be proud of them.
Steph was proud of them.
She smiled, setting the device down and resting her head against her arms. They were doing just fine. She had to keep telling herself. Everyone was doing just fine.
