CHARACTERS: Combeferre, Eponine, Gavroche, Courfeyrac, Bahorel, Feuilly, and Jehan
[It's a French Crew room 'party', but anyone is free to gate crash- they'll be noisy enough! So also OPEN.]
LOCATION: Feuilly's Room [024]
WARNINGS: None! Should be relatively PG.
SUMMARY: The best way to combat a ship whose halls seem to trick, trap, and scare people might be to stay in a group. So let's see how many people can fit in one room, in the interest of safety.
NOTES: Comment with your character's catch-all, and threadjack at will!
That it had been Feuilly who conceived of this idea was not outrageous in the least. After all, Feuilly often had some of the most sensible ideas Jehan had ever heard, to date. As he was also the newest import from the streets of Paris, it was only natural that he should still be quite fretful and greatly anxious over Mme. Tranquility's fresh horrors of late, and tales of its horrors past.
Therefore, it was readily agreed that old friends ought to form a group, and to stay near to one another until the murals disappeared from the corridors, and relative calm was restored. It was safest, and a good way of keeping spirits up.
Why then, Jehan had to wonder, was someone as sensible as Feuilly, someone as concerned for their safety at large, convinced to let Bahorel of all people plan the menu for the duration of the event?
Wine, tea, something that may have been an attempt at bread, soggy pasta, and a questionable soupy substance. The scenery was customary: two beds, very few areas to seat one's self, and seven people fit into the room for starters. Well, safe it certainly was; so long as no one decided to steal anyone else's seat, or ponder too diligently on what was in that bowl in the corner...
Jehan was hoping it was dried fruit, and not one of Combeferre's experiments, quite frankly.
