Cullen isn't quite expecting that name to come up, and when it does, he's not sure how to react. He may not be as good at reading people as some, but he can see the hesitance in her voice and he's aware that it's a bit of a sore spot. It's easy enough to guess what happened between them, with what he knows of how Hawke left things in Kirkwall.
