CHARACTERS: Shepard and Liara
LOCATION: 37th Floor Lounge
WARNINGS: n/a
SUMMARY: Valetine's Day isn't big on her list of things that're important, but it's as good a time as any to spend some time being grateful for the presence of a close friend.
NOTES: Forward-dated to Saturday, 2/14
[ The message had been simple: Let's grab drinks in the 37 lounge. Shepard hadn't waited for a response, figuring that whether or not Liara was able to come, she would have no qualms spending an hour or so alone with a drink in hand, trying to make sense of the jumble that is her life on the Tranquility. Somewhere, she registers that this is an old Earth holiday, but has never celebrated and isn't considering this a Valentine's Day celebration, either. But, it's a Saturday evening, and she's damn glad to have one of her crew who's been with her from the beginning present aboard the ship, especially given the startling "identity crisis" she faced when she'd first arrived. And that's all worth a drink, in her mind. ]
