Probably he sees it at about the same time as everyone else.
But it's not another massive bear, bent on tearing them all to bits. Too furtive for that. Without comment, Sirius gets to his feet again, and drops back, picking out a path toward the other side of the DUPRR ship. For all his penchant for big gestures and jokes, he does know how to be quiet sometimes. Hunting once a month with a werewolf will do that.
And just to speed up their target a little-- Sirius squints, and makes a quick gesture with his wand. A crate falls to the floor with a crash, fairly close to where the first sign of movement was. With any luck, that'll break their new friend into a run, so he's easier to find.
