[ dog. it's a hell of a name. jax chuckles, scratches behind the dog's ears once it's clear getting bitten is off the table. ]
Charming, California. I'm guessing you haven't heard of it?
[ since in jax's experience people who come from places with names like "fereldan" don't usually have accompanying "californias" or the like. ]
I wouldn't call it a kingdom.
[ even if jax has been saddled with the nickname "prince charming" since he was in the cradle. ]
