Combeferre has, naturally, been spending quite a lot of his time, as much as is allowed, near Eponine's side. He's not certain where things are going with the pair of them, but being so ill just now, the more important thing is that he lends his support. If she will not have him as a partner again, he can at least be a friend. Today, he's dragged along a few books to share with her, some of them from here, on datapads, but also the encyclopedia of insects, for the fact it has some colored illustrations to show her.

There are also a few flowers, clipped from the Oxygen garden, daisies, that he's carrying as he makes his way over to her bedside, offering a tiny smile as he does so.
