LOCATION: Out into the jungle

SUMMARY: Ai kidnaps Carlisle to use as bait for scary jungle animals.
NOTES:
It had been a while since the last time the thing (the ship, some had called it) had wailed and destroyed every living thing near to it. Since that time, Ailanne tried to keep his distance. Yeah, he volunteered to go on the salvage missions, but he didn't like it.
Seemed like a good way to be vaporized. Almost as bad as pissing off a mage, at the end of the day.
Even with staying out of the radius of destruction, though, Ai still had to deal with his not-so-vaporized body getting hungry.
Which is was doing now. With a vengeance.
Frowning slightly, Ai peered over the edge of his hammock to try to spot any likely targets.
Not for eating, of course. There were just people in camp, and he wasn't that hungry yet. But the animals in the jungle were. A scrawny guy would do -- someone who looked weak and easily picked off.
Ailanne needed bait.
