Chase doesn't know that--nor does she fully grasp that. She grabs the other's hands, tugging him towards the hallway. He's dressed, after all.

"It'll take time. When I met you, you had a beard and were way strong. But unsure of yourself. I think we helped you be more confident...Well."

She says 'we' like it mattered.

Chase presses her lips into a thin line, softening. Slightly.

"This is..hard on you, I imagine."
