just one step at a time
CHARACTERS: Jane Margolis, Jesse Pinkman, Lisbeth Salander
LOCATION: Jesse Pinkman's room
WARNINGS: Cursing, drug use mentions, inevitable sexual tension
SUMMARY: Jesse and his ladyfriends need to work things out
NOTES: This is going to be awesome
How surprised was Jane that Jesse found someone else while she was out?
Not at all, actually. He has a pulse, and she's not jealous of whoever Lisbeth Salander is, smoking in Jesse's room while paying attention to the smoke detectors after that one girl's notable incident.
Maybe she should be, in some other world. But in this one--she was gone, and they'd already half-discussed a threesome anyway. She's not jealous, just interested, and if that makes her defective then she's defective. God knows it's not the worst thing that's wrong with her, not by half. She's always liked women and men the same, and either they'll share Jesse, she'll lose Jesse, or--some other thing she doesn't dare to think of yet.
She doesn't know if she's strong enough to give Jesse up without a fight, in spite of everything, and she prays it doesn't come to that. Even just sharing is more than fine with her. Possession is so...prosaic. She doesn't own Jesse and he doesn't own her. That's the charm of what they are, after all. They fit together. And if Lisbeth fits in any way, any way at all? Jane is happy to have her. If she kept Jesse sober, even when Jane was out, Lisbeth is an ally and friend, and that's how Jane intends to meet her no matter what happens.
She's still incredibly nervous, fiddling with her hair and taking shallow drags of nicotine, but at least she has an idea of what to do here. (If anyone else could love Jesse and get him sober--Jane could love them too, for all that it said about them, for all the strength and goodness it took. So she isn't afraid. She's anticipating. And she wants to make the right impression.)
