| The ship has been invaded by pirates. They're noisy on the network, but you haven't seen any, not in person. Though if you go far enough things start to make themselves apparent. Kitchens have been ransacked. Pieces of the walls are torn out, media libraries overturned. Maybe you should get your valuables together and find somewhere safe to hole up... |

Internally (so, externally by extension), however, he seems a little panicked. The only people who have even laid eyes on the chair are Topher, Dirk (gone) and Netherlands, who didn't ask questions. He has no idea if Bennett will recognize what he's carrying, so his first instinct is to act like he's not doing anything suspicious.
Which, of course, comes off as very suspicious indeed.
