It.. feels safe within this spell circle. Unsurprising, since he has always felt safe within it his entire life, yet it still feels strange to feel so secure in a place like this after the past few months. But at the same time, he knows (or rather, has witnessed) how much effort it takes to cast a spell like this, and especially of this magnitude.

So when Legolas finally finds his father napping, he slips off to bring back a handful of fruits for when Thranduil happens to wake. At any other time he might sit next to his father and wait it out (for no reason in particular, other than.. simply because he can), but while he isn't in any rush, there are things to do and many more people to look after now. As much as he'd like to do otherwise, his father is only one of those many.
