change the locks, change the scene
CHARACTERS: Cibo & you.
LOCATION: Passenger Quarters, Deck 8. Empty Revenue.
WARNINGS: Construction work. Bring your steel-toed boots.
SUMMARY: Preparing the Net-Terminal Cafe for operation. All skills are appreciated!
First you notice is that everything is a bit of a mess. Chairs that she's salvaged from other places are stacked as neatly as they can be on the far wall. Materials for building the counters and tables are standing tall just beside the chairs. She's managed to find several tools for Murphy to use for construction as well. All she's really been working on is stripping the walls of whatever previous decoration to expose the bare metal walls. On them she's painted in large Japanese 'the Net-Terminal Cafe'. On another wall 'out there, there is hope'.
For the first week or so, it seems that there is always something to work on. Whether it's putting together the tables from the spare parts, cleaning up the various collection of chairs she collected, or polishing up the new counters and utensils back in the kitchen. If it's later in the month, you'll see a more put-together establishment; More cleaning up of the construction debris and making sure all the machines work. She'll be testing out some basic drinks from time to time, letting her fellow helpers try them out for advice.

She's backwards, straddling the arms of the chair between her thighs, letting her arms stretch over the top rail to act as a resting place for her head. York's voice brings her from the place she's in though; Eyes opening wearily, her shoulders following slowly after. Maybe a small yawn before she realizes that she hadn't just imagined his voice. She recovers from the yawn with her own tired smile.
"Sorry! I didn't expect to actually fall asleep if I sat down..." With her legs stretching out, she pulls herself off of the chair to stand. In just that moment, her demeanor shifts instantly from exhaustion and seems completely coherent again. "There's plenty to do if you've come to help. I really appreciate it."

While she stretches herself awake, he stands by with a grin, his arms crossed as he leans against the nearest wall. "That's all right. Looks like you've been pretty busy on your own. You have anything specific you need me to do right now?"
