CHARACTERS: Thor Odinson & Anyone
LOCATION: Oxygen Gardens
WARNINGS: None for now.
SUMMARY: Thor is exploring the ship and found his way to the gardens.
level one
[The cold, mechanical atmosphere of the ship has become somewhat oppressive. Thor is not used to living in such sterile surroundings.
He had heard that there were gardens on board, and decided to see for himself. However, when he finally locates and enters the gardens, the vast room he finds is not at all what he expected. There is plant life, but there is also the ever-present technology, keeping it all running.
He wanders down various pathways, gazing at the various plants and their attendant machines with obvious confusion, but also great interest.]
level three
[The overgrown wilderness of the upper levels is more what Thor was hoping to find. The hum of the ship is still there, but it's muffled by the greenery and plant life. He finds a small clearing and sits, leaning against a tree with his eyes closed.
Of course he never could remain still for long. Eventually he sits up straighter, taking Mjolnir into his hands. There has been a strangeness to the hammer ever since he arrived on board, and he wants to try calling its power, in a small, very controlled way.
After a few long moments of concentration, he succeeds in calling sparks to the hammer's head. He only holds them there for a moment before letting the gathered energy dissipate harmlessly. The frown on his face seems to indicate that the attempt was not as successful as he would have liked.]

[ her face is still water. if she's lying, she's doing an excellent job of it ( protip: she's an excellent liar. ) ]

He can't decide if she really believes what she's saying or she's lying. If she's lying, then she's very good. Of course Thor has spent a thousand years with the Liesmith for a brother, so he's had plenty of experience in being lied to by an expert.
In the end it doesn't really matter though. It's an amusing mental image either way and he smiles.]
That is the Tony that comes from the same world as I. Your land, Westeros I believe it was called? If Tony is your descendant, then it must have been on Earth.

You can ask him yourself. He will make a stupid face, and likely deny it, but it's true.
[ there is the tiniest upward turn to the corners of her lips. ]
no subject
I will make a point to ask him about it.
no subject
So who made it? [ she points to the hammer. mjolnir is the coolest toy okok. ]
no subject
The Dwarven folk of Nidavellir. The legend says it was forged in the heart of a dying star.
no subject
[ it's the medieval version of telling a child santa doesn't exist. ]

Are you lying?

I lack the words to explain it correctly. I must leave that to the scientists.
Besides, it is only a legend. More likely my hammer was born in the heart of Eitri's forge in Nidavellir.

[ she stumbles a little over the pronunciation, but she manages it. ]

[This conversation reminds him of the first time he explained it to Jane Foster.]

Do realms form the roots too?

Have you been to all those places?

[He grins and leans forward, lowering his voice as if someone might overhear.]
But I did go, once. My friends and I wanted to see what it was like. It is an inhospitable place, full of sulfur and smoke. We did not stay long.

Which is your favorite of them all?
no subject
I should say Asgard. It is my home, and someday I will be its king. But I confess I find myself very fond of Midgard. The people there are brave and clever, and although they have such short lives compared to ours, they do so much more with the time they have.
no subject
Have you may friends in Midgard? [ and now earth is forever midgard, good job, thor. ]
no subject
I have met a few people there that I hope I could call friend. Unfortunately I have not been able to spend much time with them. If circumstances had been different, I would have stayed longer.

[ even if getting stuck on a ship knowing only tony feels like a punishment. ]
