Her Majesty's tears and the pauper's blood
CHARACTERS: Heather Mason (plus demon) and OTA
LOCATION: the oxygen garden, the kitchen, or just strolling the corridors looking for... stuff
WARNINGS: bad manners, bad language, and possible violence (prearranged she is not going to attack anyone)
SUMMARY: Heather hasn't been out and about much this jump, and when she has she's been with Tillman and probably engaged in what looked like pretty intense conversationor trying to hold his hand under the table at breakfast without anyone noticing. Now it's what passes for the wee small hours and she's out unattended for the first time since the jump.
NOTES: Please feel free to grab any of the locations I mentioned or throw in your own! I promised a few people demon interaction, so this is for anyone who wants some :D I'm also cool with prose or action so pick your favourite and I'll follow.
It's been a rough couple of months. That's probably why Heather's been acting a little out of sorts. She's made and lost a dear friend in the space of a jump. Perhaps it's missing Kitten's fashion advice that means she's ditched her own clothes for the Tranquility jumpsuit again, although why she's accessorizing with dogtags instead of her usual ever-present locket is anyone's guess.
But now it's late – or early, depending on your perspective – and she's out and messing with things. Wandering the corridors looking for something to do. In the kitchens with a slight curl to her lip, poking packets of alleged food. In the garden, staring at a patch of dark red flowers she'd been tending near obsessively and looking like she's contemplating ripping them up.
She's obviously bored. Why not say hi?

And there was Crowley, of course, and she hadn't even known he'd managed to get himself crowned king of hell, but there was little she could do to go against him. Not that she even wanted to.
What she wanted was to be off this ship, and until that happened, to cause as much of a mess as she could.]
An honest mistake, I'm sure.
[Nothing of Amanda seeps back into her face, and her voice drops lower, words rolling lazily. The kid had slipped, and Amon saw no reason to let her sweep it under the carpet.]
Maybe you should introduce yourself, sugar.

Busted, huh?
Eliza. Not meant to be here either, obviously.

[Not that they - Crowley, Vepar - had a clear idea of exactly how many there were, but it had already started clocking into numbers that were unusual if there wasn't something significant going on. Especially considering they still had no idea who had summoned them.]
Did you bring your friend with you, or did you find her here?

Oh, this is ship issue. Pretty standard for a uniform, it's not what I'd choose for myself but it comes with some definite practical advantages.
I gather you're in civvies?

I've had it for a while now. I suppose I can take the journey through space to mean I'm really rather attached at this point.
[Just as well. She'd narrowly avoided flying into a rage, waking up in the medbay. If she'd been in a new body as well, she would have been even more pissed. Still, she considers the idea of finding one here.]
Though having established connections already might have been fun.

[It's not really as sarcastic as it sounds. She has a tendency to play rough with her toys, and keeping one long-term without letting it get noticeably damaged could be undeniably useful.
The next offering warrants a genuine grin, though.]
It's been great! She has a little bubble of people who already trust her, and it makes things so much easier. Of course, if they had all that much sense to start with they probably wouldn't.
[She's working on that.]
You have any plans?
