CHARACTERS: Fili and Thranduil
LOCATION: The lockers, right before the jump
WARNINGS: A lot of feels
SUMMARY: Fili and Thranduil have a lot to talk about.
Thranduil has made a point to give Fili some space, in case of any resentment after the theft of the Arkenstone. In less than an hour, they will jump and leave the gem behind, probably for good. At his locker, Thranduil places the things he will need directly after the jump, as well as his rings and other trinkets he doesn't like leaving unguarded. Discreetly, he glances Fili's way, trying to see if the dwarf is approachable. Thranduil doesn't like the thought of going into a jump unreconciled.
It takes a moment to catch Fili's eye and give an inquiring nod toward himself, inviting him over to speak.
