you're a bird you just didn't know it [OPEN]
CHARACTERS: Murphy Pendleton and Anne Cunningham... and you.
LOCATION: The chapel in the Oxygen Gardens.
WARNINGS: Wedding stuff. Casual cursing. Consumption of alcohol. You know, for kids!
SUMMARY: Silent Hill veterans just tying the literal knot, no big d or anything.
NOTES: Backdated to the 17th, after this thing went up!

The Tranquility. Home of crazy, bad juju, and evidently love.
The ceremony itself is a casual one. There are rings, of course -- and an actual knot tied between the bride and groom, a ye olde tradition Murphy was rather fond of, himself. But if you're looking for extravagance, you'll not find it here.
What you will find, however, is a lot of booze, procured from the kitchens of the sixth deck and -- is that moonshine? Yes it is.
And food. There's a lot of food. All cooked by the groom (not the bride, so don't worry). You'll find a wide range of traditional Irish dishes, most which will include stuff handpicked from the gardens.
Feel free to prod the newlyweds. Especially Murphy, because yeah.

no subject
Closing the gap between them without warning, she just gives him a hug. She knows he hasn't always been crazy about her spontaneous displays of affection, but fuck it all, it's her wedding day and he needs a hug.
no subject
Well, if there's one day he supposes he can let her get away with it, it's today. So instead of trying to wiggle away like he normally would, he holds still and even pats her elbow to return the gesture. That's basically like a hug, right? "So, uh, congratulations!"
FIRO STOP BEING SO CUTE
"Thanks," she's still beaming when she lets him go, and such a big smile looks out of place on her normally serious face. "I'm glad this finally happened. So many things got in the way for so long I was starting to think I was cursed or something." She's kidding but no, really, they've had the worst of luck.
HE'S TRYING VERY HARD NOT TO BE D:
"All that matters is it did happen, right?" If you love each other, it doesn't matter how long you have to wait.
FIRO YOU ADORABLE LITTLE THING
Another smile, and Anne nods. "You're right. I may not be the most romantic person alive but I can at least realize that Murphy is worth waiting for." A warm smile ahd then she realizes just how cheesy that sounds and dismisses it with a slightly awkward chuckle.
STOP IT D:<
His smile softens. "Yeah. He seems like a pretty good guy." His own encounters with Murphy have been pretty pleasant, but, those aside, he trusts Anne's judgement to pick a winner.
"What was the deal with the knot? I thought that was just a figure a' speech."
