you're a bird you just didn't know it [OPEN]
CHARACTERS: Murphy Pendleton and Anne Cunningham... and you.
LOCATION: The chapel in the Oxygen Gardens.
WARNINGS: Wedding stuff. Casual cursing. Consumption of alcohol. You know, for kids!
SUMMARY: Silent Hill veterans just tying the literal knot, no big d or anything.
NOTES: Backdated to the 17th, after this thing went up!

The Tranquility. Home of crazy, bad juju, and evidently love.
The ceremony itself is a casual one. There are rings, of course -- and an actual knot tied between the bride and groom, a ye olde tradition Murphy was rather fond of, himself. But if you're looking for extravagance, you'll not find it here.
What you will find, however, is a lot of booze, procured from the kitchens of the sixth deck and -- is that moonshine? Yes it is.
And food. There's a lot of food. All cooked by the groom (not the bride, so don't worry). You'll find a wide range of traditional Irish dishes, most which will include stuff handpicked from the gardens.
Feel free to prod the newlyweds. Especially Murphy, because yeah.

He's surprised when he sees Firo, but it's not an unwelcome one. While he doesn't greet the kid with a forceful embrace, Murphy does nod as he approaches Firo with a wry smile.
"Glad you could make it."

And that's a nice thing to see on this crazy ship.
no subject
To be fair, he's happier on this crazy ship than he ever would be back home.

He doesn't want to be a wet blanket, but he's sure there's more than a few people who aren't happy at all. Not that he's one of them.

Good thing that even if there were any wet blankets around, Murphy's too far beyond a care to really give a damn what other people say.
He drops his hand from his head and gesticulates at Firo. "So, er, how've you been?"
no subject
"What about you? You been stayin' outta trouble?"
no subject
He gestures at the general surrounding. "Unless you call this trouble... Been keepin' to myself, for the most part. Surprisingly, I've gotten pretty good at that."
no subject
"That's surprising for you? You seem like the quiet type." Or maybe Murphy's making a joke. Firo's not sure he'd be able to tell.

Even after seeing that little glimpse of Murphy's past--and Firo's sure there was a reason for that--Firo has a hard time imagining Murphy getting into too much trouble. He just seems too nice and quiet.
no subject
Hey, it's not like he has to really divulge his reasons for it.

He shakes his head, sounding both skeptical and impressed. "You gotta be kiddin' me!"
