Simon was still gone. She knew that now. He coudl come back, but he'd come back... different. He wouldn't remember what they had. His things were here, though, and she'd taken it upon herself to wear his clothing when she could. Mostly button-downs and sweaters, when she wasn't working. Most often, though, rather than staying in the room she once shared with him, Kaylee was down in engineering, putting in over-time.

She'll most likely be found futzing around, trying to ignore the fact that Simon Tam was gone and Wash is dead, muttering in Mandarin. Someone, take the wrench away from her.
