CHARACTERS: Bill Adama and OPEN
LOCATION: Edge of camp
SUMMARY: There's a stampede. That's probably bad.
NOTES:
Bill's not the sort of officer who would keep himself off his own watch rotation. Especially not when he technically doesn't have any authority here and has been making a watch schedule largely because... well, someone had to do it and he was just used to 'someone' usually meaning him.
Mostly, the schedule is for night time. But it's still smart to keep an eye on the perimeter by day on an unknown planet. Which is exactly what he's doing around midday. When the rumbling starts.
He watches carefully for a source. And eventually, spots one in the distance. "Look sharp people! We have a situation!"
A simple sidearm isn't going to help against a stampede.
