was she asking for it, was she asking nice?
CHARACTERS: Libby and Loki; etc. as required
LOCATION: Libby's hide-out in Engineering
WARNINGS: Libby is a psycho
SUMMARY: HI LOKI LET LIBBY TELL YOU ABOUT HER HATE
NOTES: Jesus this will go well right???
Libby wants Loki far, far away.
Of course she has no choice, but she seethes under oppression. He wants to tear her away from the sentimental cradling of Jesse? Fine. Go ahead. Make her a whore again. Libby doesn't care. What she wants had never matters, has it? Should it start now? Of course not. It never should.
(She grieves like he ripped her heart, bloody and pulsing, out of her.)
She grins at Loki, bleeding and open, when he arrives: "What you want, bitch?

His eyes fall down on to her and with a small gesture of his hands it's enough to say, 'well, go on.'

Loki seriously--he was mocking her. She knew it. She grins horribly and keeps working.
She should have have bombs ready before. She won't make thw same mistake twice. Bombs unfold easy, safe. Bombs make sense. In working them she calms.
"You let them do that to Jesse," she says, flat and toothless.

Although he will take the time to mention this, as he wanders. "You, on the other hand, needed no such aid."

"He is me, you fucker. He is me." No help--she's proving his point as the whole room warps, walls wavering and bulging, the floor buckling underneath them. Everything can be broken. Libby feels every flaw of construction like an open wound; at heart she's a perfectionist.

"He's an extension of your sentiment. How did you meet him?"
no subject
He can have anything, but not--not that. The complex tangle of what they are, her heart out of her body. No, she isn't done. She's crying and doesn't even care enough to dry her face. Let the tears come. At least she feels anything.
"From now on--from now on, he's first. 'Cause if he goes--I burn you to the fucking ground. You won't be able to stop me. Kill me, sure. But before that all of your cute fucking lies go."
"But this time--"
Now she does cover her eyes, voice hitching: "I can't--you came and you--I am so sorry."

Simply, Loki comes to sit near by and a finger presses to her lips for just a second. So young, and while through so much still so fragile. "Why do you think I lie and what of, do tell me."
no subject
But she isn't flinching. Just staying there, quietly hopeless,, because she deserves it. She deserves everything anyone could do to her, now. She might as well slit her wrists and be done, but she's a coward.

He told you he was a trouble maker. He'd been honest in that. He pulled through for you, didn't he?
no subject
"It doesn't matter. I just--" she toys with wire between her fingers, face twisting up "--I can't pay you back. Ever. I can try but I'll never--I'm sorry for everything. Everything I said and did, about you. I was wrong. You're a good guy. I'm just a fucking idiot."
no subject
"Good and evil are relative, truly. I think you understand on a surface level how real that is, but perhaps soon you'll see it's further meaning."
no subject
She does lean, but only to timidly brush her fingers on the back of his hand.
"Okay. Then--you're good to me. You saved them. You didn't have to, no one made you--and I don't care why. I don't. Just--thank you. Thank you, and I'm yours. You keep Jesse safe and I'll be anything you want."

"I'd hide it," spoken, as he moved to leave again. "The log. I know not the powers here but if they can bring Thor to be amongst us then in all humble truth I know it stronger than I."
no subject
"Unless it bothers you." She corrects herself. This loyalty thing--it's easy to fall back into. "I'm sorry. I'll hide it."
no subject
Well then, he's done here.
