[His hand comes up to fluff up his cravat, as though that would possibly distract from the color in his face. Her teasing just makes it worse.]

[That fluster suddenly becomes something more akin to horror. Hayley had been right on the mark up until makeouts; Edgeworth's color turns abruptly a great deal paler, and he shakes his head violently.]

[ her hands lift in mock surrender, and to her credit, the drink doesn't slosh once. ]

I objectively recognize that she is a lovely woman. But there is a significant difference between recognizing that and being physically attracted to her.
