SUMMARY: Open log for SEC for the month of December.

Your training. [ But the sandwich is cut as neatly as she could muster, and she holds it up, judging. The bigger side she gives to Blake, and takes a huge bite of her own slice. ]

And your mask. But I don't think--[ Munch, munch. It's hard to talk with your mouth full. ] --you should feel guilty about all of that.

[Carefully, he takes the offered sandwich half. Well, he could use the calories, even if it is a little more goopy than he would normally prefer.]

I shouldn't, huh? I don't know if I feel guilty about it, necessarily, but I am still responsible for what I did. The mask didn't make me post to the network. It didn't make me punch Edgeworth in the face.

[ And Chase laughs. ] Maybe not, no.. But... It was funny when you punched him. I laughed, even if I wasn't there.

[ But this is a serious matter and that's exactly why, despite the fact that Blake is probably sweaty, Chase looks at at him expectantly before realizing that no, he can't read her mind. So she carefully puts her hair up in a ponytail. ]

[ Oh, wait--Chase grins. Maybe he doesn't get it. ] Yes, with you. It might be fun. I haven't practiced in a while.

[His lips twitch - okay, yeah, they twitch, and he crosses his arms over his chest.] Are you going to hit me with a fireball, or something?

That is unrealistic. I do not have a pyrokinetic ability.

Well, what kind of fighting do you do, then? [Hey, she's psychic or something, who knows what kind of other powers she has?]

[the_vishual]

Want to see? [ Grinning. ] I told you--I'm the Vishual.

[learnedtosmile]

Giving me that title doesn't tell me anything about what you can do, you realize. [He raises his eyebrows slightly, but shrugs.] Try not to burn my eyebrows off or anything, okay?

[He just listens with that frown line between his brows - because, well.]

If you're that powerful, I'm not sure it'll do me much good to spar with you. I can't exactly learn how to bend reality to my will.

I can't, either. Not here. so I think we're on even ground! [ Smile. ] If you're going to be the next protector of Gotham, you should be up to par as well.

You sure I'm not already taking care of that? [He looks more amused than anything.]

But sure, okay. Just don't hamstring me.

[the_vishual]

[ g r i n ]

I think you're afraid I'm going to win.

[learnedtosmile]

I think I'm sure you're going to win, I just don't want you causing any internal damage.

Believe it or not, I don't win most sparring matches. [He says this with a slight, self-deprecating smile. Most of his sparring matches are against Batman, after all.] I don't learn as much when I win.

[the_vishual]

[ Too late, Blake. You're in the middle of talking when Chase tackles him and latches onto his leg and--well, okay. She has the strength of an 11 year old and is laughing as she clings to his leg and nope, not letting go. N o p e. Just going to be his shoe. ]

[learnedtosmile]

[He lets out a surprised oomf, and glances down at her with raised eyebrows.] Good grip.

[Okay, so he's pretty close to a smile at this point.]

[the_vishual]

[ Chase is laughing. ]

I am the Vishual! I will always win, it's destiny! [ doesn't stop her from giggling again and moving to switch to the other leg. ]

Yeah, well I'm a plucky guy about to defy destiny! [All right, he's grinning by now, grabbing her wrists to pull her away.]

[ She may be a prophet, but she's still in a tiny girl's body. She's pried away easily, but she quickly latches onto Blake once more, voice a little more somber as she buries her face in the crook of his neck. ]

Hey. Could I request an action of you?

[His arms go around her automatically - like it's a perfectly natural thing for him to be hugging a little girl.

He supposes it kind of is.]

What would that be?

[the_vishual]

I want you to take care of her. She's very curious.

[learnedtosmile]

[That takes him a little by surprise - her? Take care of someone?

He knows who she's talking about, though, it's clear. Why, though, is another thing entirely.] I - Yeah, I will.

[the_vishual]

[ She nods slowly, and then reaches upwards, hands grabbing at air. She wants to hug you, Blake. ]
