team badass brig party

CHARACTERS: Jack ([personal profile] fuckcerberus), James Vega ([personal profile] armsmaster), Zaeed Massani ([personal profile] idkmybffjessie)
LOCATION: The brig.
WARNINGS: General foulmouthedness, unsportsmanlike conduct, and threats of violence. You know, the usual.
SUMMARY: Post-shuttle-hijack thread for anyone who wants to yell at our unrepentant criminals and/or discover they're actually on board (h-hi Tali and Thane, how you doin')!
NOTES: A summary of what actually went down can be found here.

[So. Uh. There's actually a brig on board. Which seems to be immune to the effects of ragey biotics. Who'd have thought it? Not these three.

Granted, they were kind of more concerned with the impending destruction of their own universe, so let's cut them some slack. In any case, they're here, not exactly contemplating their sins, and open to chatting.

For, uh. A given definition of "chatting."]

[ Fry doesn't know much at all about what's going on back where he's from. But she knew Shepard, knew bits and pieces about the technology from their world, and knew that Shepard was still close enough to Earth to travel their comfortably.

It's different where she's from, even if large starships like that sound vaguely familiar -- something whispered about, towering monuments on worlds that hadn't been dead the last time anyone had looked. (Necromongers, though she doesn't know the word or Riddick's connection to them. She had died before that.) ]

In case you hadn't noticed, none of the stars around here are familiar. Not to me, not to anyone else from space on board this ship, and that included Shepard. Navigation is fucked, we have no idea how much time each jump takes or where we'll be the next time each happens, and we sure as hell don't have enough fuel to get in the shuttles and leave or else we'd have done that already. You might not believe any of the people on here about how time works, but I'm going to assume you know how to read fuel levels. What were you going to run it on, sheer stubbornness? Because that doesn't actually work.

[ Zaeed doesn't need to admit to Carolyn that she's right -- she already knows it. She has no problem with admitting when she's been wrong, or hasn't yet, but this time? This time she knows she isn't, knows that on this ship, in this unfamiliar part of space, you need to think in order to survive. You need to make calls that maybe you don't want to make. (She's waiting to have to make another one. She isn't sure which route she'll take.) ]

Like I said. If you want to run off to space, take the airlock next time. You can try your luck with being stubborn then.
