Camping may not be an expected activity on a spaceship, but the gardens are large and have clear, grassy areas for people to gather together. You can help set up tents, inventory supplies or guard the perimeter — just keep an eye out for any strange faces trying to sneak in...

[Chell is still new to the ship but she's spent a bit of time in the Oxygen gardens to know it's a place she likes. That's why holing up in here seemed like a good idea, despite the crowds that seemed to be going there as well.]

[She's off to the sides, keeping clear of most of the groups. The Portal gun is either in her hands or close to them and she keeps a wary eye on anyone who decides to walk near her.]

[Bail has been making his way through the crowd, trying to keep tabs on everyone. He knows where his strengths lie.]

Did you need anything, miss?

[Chell kept an eye on him as he walked over. Still a bit wary but also curious when he starts talking to her.]

[Give her a moment to remember that talking is an option now.]

Who are you?

[He tries his best to come off as non-threatening as possible. He's dealt with enough war scarred people during the war.]

I'm Bail Organa.

[She nods.]

I'm Chell.

[Introducing herself is still odd. She's used to the people talking at her to either have all her information or just make things up about her, or both.]

Have you been in many situations like this before?

[Thinks that over for a moment and then shakes her head.]

This is probably the best place to be, then. Military types don't tend to enjoy having civilians underfoot.

[She points at him with a curious look.]

[During her walk through the gardens, Maya can't help but notice a woman who looks very out of place. Not in the same sense that Maya does, what with her bright tattoos and all, but in the sense that she's probably a new passenger (captive, whatever).

Although this woman looks as if she really doesn't wish to be bothered, Maya defies the odds and does just that.]

[Chell pauses for a moment and then nods.]

Well, no. I shouldn't just say that. I've been here for a little over a month, according to the calendar.

What's your name?

[Now, Maya never really considered herself to be a conversationalist, but it was definitely strange how this woman just didn't say much.

While she was definitely curious, it was probably a good idea not to be too much of a bother. So she shrugged a bit and smiled, to at least show that she was friendly and (relatively) harmless.]

Well, it's nice to meet you. It's probably not a very good time to be a newcomer here, though, thanks to the sudden invasion of pirates, but hey, I'm assuming you can fight? Or at least hide, if they find their way in the gardens somehow.

[You have no idea. Chell nods again. Oh she can and will fight if she needs to.]

That's good to hear! What do you do, exactly? Wield a gun? Sword?

[She does...somewhat. She shakes her head to both of those though.]

[ Cibo has been about the same in the situation. When she isn't at the streams with her giant fish, she's just visually checking on familiar faces within the group. So maybe it's on her way from one to the other that she finally notices Chell chillin on the sidelines.

No words though. Only a quiet, curious stare to her and her unusual looking device.

And a brief nod of 'hey what's up' and/or 'hey what's that' the direction of that nod was debatable ]

[Chell isn't sure what the nod is for but nods back. Um hi?]

[ This is quickly becoming a misunderstanding in communication. She can feel it. So she points to the portal gun briefly. ]

It seems like a familiar design to me. [ Chances were it wasn't designed to be as destructive as she imagined though. Right? ] Is it your creation?

[Familiar design? That ...is not a good sign. Chell merely shakes her head and points to the name on her tank top. It says, Aperture Laboratories on it.]
