Camping may not be an expected activity on a spaceship, but the gardens are large and have clear, grassy areas for people to gather together. You can help set up tents, inventory supplies or guard the perimeter — just keep an eye out for any strange faces trying to sneak in...

Epsilon frowns, remembering getting lost in the hallways. "As far as I understand, it's normal for this place. It's dangerous."

Delta nodded with a thoughtful look on his face. York had said more or less the same thing, but it was good to confirm.

"Understood. I have performed some basic firearms training, but it is my hope that it will not be necessary to use it. Do you have a means to protect yourself?"

Epsilon eyes Delta at that question. Did he really just ask that? He actually looks embarrassed.

"Look, the only reason I'm admitting this to you is I know you aren't going to make a big deal of it. I have really bad aim. Even if I'm an AI."

Delta bites back a smile. No, of course he won't make a big deal over it, but that's not exactly what a combat AI should be admitting.

"I see. Do you have any hand-to-hand skills?"

Epsilon shook his head at that. "As awesome as I am... No."

"Is it something you have an interest in learning?"

If nothing else, he was fairly certain York or Tex would teach them, if they asked. Delta could use some non-theoretical hand-to-hand courses himself.

"Eventually." Epsilon was kind of embarrassed that he can't handle that on his own.

Delta nodded. "If you would like to practice with me, I would be happy to do so."

Epsilon nods at that. "I appreciate having someone that won't give me hell for needing that assistance."

"Certainly not. We have only been in human bodies for a very short time." There was nothing shameful about that, in Delta's opinion.
