The Good Doctor [Closed]
CHARACTERS: Ratchet + Rey
LOCATION: Medbay
WARNINGS: Medical stuff? Nothing much
SUMMARY: Rey's coming in for a checkup, and Ratchet's the lucky one.
NOTES: Nothing of note~! but will edit as necessary.
It was Ratchet's shift this evening, and quiet, for once. Megamind was in a secured part of the medbay, and asleep, so Ratchet had time to catch up on the influx of new information on the passengers of this forsaken ship, jumping blind through the cosmos.
He had his own personal notes, written in the Cybertronian glyphs he still thought in, despite knowing all the spoken and written Earth languages, but they weren't just from his examinations, also coming from what he hears on the network, and sees for himself.
It gave him time to think, to digest the happenings, from the mutiny, to someone outing himself as a mutant, able to manipulate metal, of all things. What else would this ship bring for him to marvel over?

She wasn't in the place to argue, and she didn't want to try wracking her brain trying to think up any excuses, either.
Good to know that when she set her mind to something, she didn't change her mind so easily.

"Is there anything I should know?" Back to business, Ratchet. Get this business of mucking around in processors (brains, Ratchet! Organics have brains. But Primus, did he hate mucking around in heads) over with, and perhaps then this little puzzle will be solved. Anything would be helpful in this chaotic environment.

She was here for a reason. It would be completely counterproductive if she kept him in the dark about this.
"Yeah." She lifted her head up, giving the doctor a long look. "There was a fire in my sleeping quarters awhile back. I didn't have a room for awhile, so I slept in the halls."
Which, incidentally, led to her getting trapped in them that one time.
Anyway... "Sometimes, things I touch burn -- or start to burn. I haven't figured out how it works."

"You can make things start to burn. It's nothing you can control yet?"
Ratchet rested his chin on his folded hands, calmly waiting for answers.

"I think so. So far, it's only been something that happens when I'm asleep."
