SUMMARY: Another month, another jump, another round of new faces.
NOTES: Yep, we're continuing the tradition of re-hashing the game premise.

You wake up in darkness.


There's a breathing tube jammed down your trachea, and you're suspended in a tube of clear blue fluid. Upon registering your level of consciousness, the gravity couch drains the fluid surrounding you and retracts the breathing apparatus; the doors in front of you open, and you're deposited on the floor of a stark, sterile medical bay.

You are not alone.


There are others who have come before you, others who are awakening beside you. Some may be familiar to you, perhaps even friends. Others have much less amiable plans. Some are merely alien and inexplicable, but there are always those who might mean you harm.

After you catch your breath and your vision returns, you notice a number on the inside of your forearm. Maybe it's a familiar number. Maybe it means something. Maybe it's just a number. But the number—completely unique to you—is a tattoo, and it does not come off.

If you enter the room adjacent to the medbay, you will find a small locker with your number on it, surrounded by rows upon rows of identical lockers. Inside, you will find a few of your personal items, a communications device, and a ship's uniform in your exact size. The comms device is fully powered and connects directly to the ship's network; it's your only means of communication beyond physical conversation. Upon turning the device on, a neutral, automated voice will say, "Please take the blue lift to the passenger quarters." Any other attempts at communicating with the rest of the network are met only with static.

This is your welcome party.

SUMMARY: The next jump, the newest arrivals, and the same old mass confusion. Huge ol' meet and greet.

CHARACTERS: Richard B. Riddick and OPEN to anyone else in the brig/capable of getting in to visit.
LOCATION: The brig.
WARNINGS: Possible implications of violence in Riddick's narrative.
SUMMARY: Riddick used Megamind's mutiny as a distraction to sneak up onto the bridge, got caught and now he's back behind bars. Almost like home.
NOTES: Covers the time from the end of the mutiny to the next jump.

WARNINGS: Possible discussion of gore and injury, death threats, who knows.
SUMMARY: Megamind's in the medbay. So are a lot of other people coming and going.

CHARACTERS: John Watson ([personal profile] theblogger) and patients!
LOCATION: Medbay
WARNINGS: None for now, but may add them later.
SUMMARY: It's better now that the staff has managed to decide on hours instead of 'all hours', but an eight-hour shift is nothing to scoff at.
NOTES: This post was made for Todd/The Guide's plot (please see the OOC board), but anyone and everyone who needs medical attention, is wandering through, or just needed an excuse to troll John Watson is most welcome.

Those who post for the plot may be subject to scrutiny from Ratchet, Helen, Rory, and any other med staff wishing to participate. John will be sending out a network post to the staff once more than one person comes in afflicted with the strange condition, so if you want a lead-in, that will be it.

John didn't know what to expect when he arrived for his shift in the morning. )

CHARACTERS: John Tillman, Dean Winchester, Ratchet, Simon Silverton, Chase Kilgannon, Robert Capa, Re-L, and possibly more. This shit is bananas.
LOCATION: The medbay
SUMMARY: Raise a knife to a few throats and you're bound to get noticed. Make an unencrypted call afterward and you're bound to meet Dean Winchester. Get concussed and cable-tied, and you're bound to end up in the medbay with a lot of questions to answer.
NOTES: Backdated to January 20th. This is open to any of the folks who wanted in. I just took so long to get it up I didn't want to drag people in if they weren't interested anymore. (Sorry for the delay, everybody!) Feel free to tag in and make additional threads for characters to talk to each other.
