It makes him almost want to throw up, because Tyler knows those sorts of accidents, how you can just lose track of a moment and then suddenly things are too late.
He's not sure whether the other guy is -- or what he'd say to him even if he found him. Right now he's just wandering the halls, trying to figure out what the hell he's supposed to do with this.
no subject
The worst thing, he knew who it was, if only because he knew Caroline. Shaky hands typed a message to Tyler, a quick 'where are you' before hanging up, just before he threw up again.
no subject
Still, he texts back.
making my way down the halls, why?
no subject
you
someone's head.
you were changing.
Alex doesn't know which halls, but Alex is going to find Tyler. Because it's all he can think to do; there isn't any other way to do it.
sorry this is so late, life got insane
I saw something -- you and your sister. an accident.
its okay.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
Because no one needed to see that. No one. He needed to find Tyler, fast, before everything came apart at the seams.
no subject
The death, Tyler seeing it -- any of it really.

Alex finally crashed around the corner, breathing heavily. He was pretty sure that was Tyler, in the distance, right?
"Hey?"
He just needed to make the headache, the tightness in his chest to go away.
no subject
"Hey."

the 19th || it's wolf time
The other times she'd been ready - well, the first time she hadn't been, but this time - she was going to be ready.
That had at least been the plan, but then all the rest happened and when she finally feels that first flash of heat across her skin she knows that she isn't ready.
She doesn't have the time to get to where she needs to so she just sends a message to Tyler. It's in a panic, but she mostly just expresses that she knows he had to have figured out how to minimize people knowing what he is... that she needs help. It's not her best plan, but as she feels that twist of pain start as muscles try and force bones into place -- it's all she has.]
He's not gonna be happy.
no subject
Which is why he's unsure when his device goes with a message -- even more when it's her. But the thing is -- if he doesn't help her? She'll hurt people.
And he can't let that happen.
He helped Mason with his transformations here, he can do it for her. But first, he needs to find her.]
where are you?
no subject
So she gave him space. It's a big ship.
Except right now it feels too small and maybe it's the space or that she feels like she's running a quick fever. She manages to reply quickly.]
my quarters

The thing about when Tyler takes action is he rarely knows what the right sort of action really is. So he stumbles and hopes it's the right one.
Right. He recalls seeing her number before and he's already making sure he has some of the supplies. He has wolfsbane he had been taken from Mason's room -- just in case -- and a few chains and things he had kept in the closet -- also just in case he'd need them again.]
I'll be there shortly.

[She erases the 'Ty' that had come almost naturally. She sends the message and begins to pace. Her fingers press to her temples, trying to see if she can just will it to stop. Mind over matter. The moon isn't even around to impact them naturally -- she doesn't understand why this still happens.
She's beginning to believe it's biological more than it is mystical. That there's something inside of her that pushes her to do this to herself. The pacing is slightly helping. So are the odd flashes of cities she's never seen before.]
no subject
[A lot of things on this ship don't make sense -- the fact that people still transform is one of them.
Soon enough Tyler's fathered the supplies he needs and he's gotten himself to her room, knocking on it.
He cracks his neck, more than a little uncomfortable on a few levels.]
no subject
Sorry. Look, I'd handle it fine -- I've been handling it fine, but all the extra thoughts -- these other feelings, it's putting me off balance. I don't want something that's stuck from someone else to set off how shitty this could get.
no subject
Yeah, and nobody else needs this shitty week getting worse because you attacked someone.
[Hes making it clear he's not here for her -- he's here to make sure she doesn't hurt anyone.]
no subject
Thanks, because I really needed the threat of some additional guilt. [She exhales and begins pacing again.] I could've not called you, but I knew I needed help.
[She's trying to take that advice... even if she's doing it too late.]
no subject
Luckily, I had stuff left over from when my Uncle Mason was still here.
no subject
Mm. The Lockwood family special. It does a body ... well, horrible. [Hayley toys with the bottle in her hands for a moment before moving toward one of her drawers. She pulls out a bottle of pretty decent scotch. Pilfered from the other ship. Moving across the room she hands it to him.]
Now, we both have something that burns on the way down.
no subject
He takes the bottle from her, opening it up and taking a swig straight from the bottle.]
At least this tastes better.
