Feel free to harass him in hallways, in the showers, while he's cooking food, or... pretty much anywhere you can think of.
I look forward to playing with you! I'm 'whatuhflamer' on aim and 'queefofchat' on plurk. Don't be shy if you want to plot something out! I'd be happy to start a thread.

Not at all. [His gaze is obviously assessing, but not particularly threatening or obtrusive. His gaze falls on the saxophone and lingers there. It's the first honest to goodness instrument he's seen in... six years? Seven? Maximum security prisons were a dull place and music hadn't been a priority before he'd gone into one.]
Do you play? Here, I mean. For an audience.

[ a small laugh as soysauce rummages through a different cupboard to dig up an empty cup, returning the reed to his mouth and moving to the sink. it only takes him a few moments to get a half-full cup to dip the reed into. ] I can't say I've ever played in a kitchen before, sir. But if you'd like a song, I can certainly oblige!
[ a rather rough-looking man, this person, but perhaps fond of music? soysauce beams at tillman as he leans back against the counter. ] Do you like jazz?

Acoustics might not be optimal in here, but a song would be nice if you have the time.

[ a deep, almost theatrical bow in tillman's direction, before soysauce retrieves his reed from the cup of water -- taking a few moments to fit it in place. and when he starts playing, the first few notes come out a little squeaky, a little flat before it starts sounding nice. the acoustics in the kitchen really aren't too good, but for what it's worth, it's a nice little saxophone solo he's got going. ]

I hope that didn't sound too rusty? [ a beat, before he extends a hand with a sheepish laugh. ] Ah, please forgive me, I've forgotten my manners. Please call me Soysauce. At your service, sir.

Tillman. Good to meet you. First time I've heard music in five years or so. Thank you. [It's probably hard to tell because he's got a mad-awesome poker face, but he's having an emotion.

[ he's curious as to what kind of circumstances this man's been in, but he's not rude enough to pry -- soysauce just gives a soft laugh as he bows his head. ] It may not be much, but I'd be glad to offer my services at any time.

Even back home, most music on the radio was computer-rendered garbage. I might just take you up on that.
