Salt lines across every entryway. Devil's traps throughout the room and the halls outside. Holy water to be drank or splashed on each arrival. These are all the basic checks that had been set in to place when the room had first been chosen as a meeting ground. Some of the arrivals were given second looks; people that Castiel knows, instinctively, aren't human. But they aren't demons either. Other supernatural creatures that the angel knows better than to let his guard down around. It's why he spent the entire demonstration with his blade gripped tightly in his hand, far more on edge than he has been since turning up on this ship. He doesn't know who he can trust anymore. No one except Dean, and now, Mary.

The use of salt is explained to those who turned up, as is holy water, and the limitations of iron. But it's the rest that was the real reason Castiel had suggested having this meeting. It's the talk of devil's traps and exorcisms. The best ways to really catch and remove a demon. And until he finds a volunteer for his extra request, it's the only way of getting rid of them.

With the demonstrations out the way, the floor is left open to questions or clarifications, the trio splitting up soon after to offer the same on a more personal level. The aim is to make sure that every person there is ready and able to protect themselves from the demons aboard, however long that takes.
