Exhausted and desperate, you find another door, stumbling through into— You're home, finally, far away and safe from monsters or spaceships. You're not alone, someone here who's been waiting for you, and they're so happy to see you. Relief overcomes you; you just want to rest, and there's no reason to believe anything here isn't what it seems, is there?

[The stairs groan in the corridor, as if straining under some great weight, and Sirius slams the door shut behind them without looking, firing off a few defencive spells to seal it shut. Not that it will matter, not with whatever that thing is.

He gives the room a cursory glance--Edgeworth's room, he realises, and does not ask for confirmation of that. No time, no time to study all his odds and eds, book titles, knicknacks. Serious fucking danger, right outside, and the doorknob turns slowly to the left as Edgeworth goes to the window--]
