CHARACTERS: Max Rockatansky and Tyke. And any SEC. And anyone else really, if SEC cares or finds them reliable enough to let in idk.
LOCATION: In the brig, in a cell, hating his life.
WARNINGS: Probs not anything big.
SUMMARY: Max was causing a little grief for the ship a few days back, and now he's in solitary confinement to calm the hell down. Now he's just a pacing and grumbling ball of nerves waiting for the other shoe to drop — but hey, at least he's not punching people! And you can talk to him with metal bars between you!
NOTES: One can assume there's probably SEC people patrolling around, probs. So if your character does stop by, keep in mind they're probably lingering somewhere.

CHARACTERS: Any and all.
LOCATION: Gravity Couches and beyond.
WARNINGS: Maybe some swearing, or even some violence, and more than likely some implied (and possibly explicit) nakedness.
SUMMARY: Another month, another jump, another round of new faces.
NOTES: Awareness comes to you slowly in the smothering quiet of the blue fluid. In the light piercing through from the medical bay you realise there's a shadow, a figure stood at the glass of your gravcouch, a hand pressed to the surface just above your face. Fear spikes through your gut as waves of alien sensation crash into your mind, a rage that feels endless, all-consuming, furious, molten hatred that you know is for you.

When the fluid drains, door sliding open to deposit you on the medbay floor, you remember it. Remember it coming again and again, like a nightmare that plagued your sleep over and over, leaving you with no respite, no rest. Days. Perhaps even longer.

You remember that the light coming through from behind the shadow was red.

New arrivals will find messages spray-painted in red across their lockers telling them not to follow their tattoo numbers, and instead to find a room on Floors 001-010.

I can only hope that the answers will come to me in my sleep. )

SUMMARY: After the murder of two interlopers during the rescue missions of a month ago, Natasi does her time in the brig, for as long as that takes.

[Halls]

Another day aboard the lovely Tranquility, another opportunity for Zoë to explore the halls on a Security detail. She walks the floors from the 20th to the 35th, gun in hand and on alert for any trouble. She checks the common rooms on the off chance that someone might be there who needs help, more than she's really interested in them.  She'd like to give Tyke a correct report when she checks in. 

A sudden noise catches her attention and she heads to the area it came from. "Who's there? Best come on out now."


[Gunnery]

For a change, Zoë's not working or keeping in shape. No, today, she's waiting for her friend to show up so they can start their training. Yesterday, they'd concentrated on hand-to-hand in the gym, but today it's about shooting. Before Jennifer arrives, she's just going to inspect the arms available on the ship.

"Shame Jayne's not here. He'd like to get his hands on a few of these back home, I image."

[Private Rooms; closed to Wash]

When all her obligations are over, she heads to the rooms she and Wash share.  They're overdue for a talk and they both know it. So, it's no surprise to her that she finds him sitting there on their bed. She comes and sits close to him, but not touching and looks at him silently. In a way, she's trying to memorize the familiar features. In another, she's trying to find the courage to approach this topic.

But she knows, in the end, that the only way to do anything is just to jump right in. 

"We can't keep avoiding this, Wash. It's not going away."

CHARACTERS: Rey and anyone interested in the investigation plot thing.
LOCATION: Deck 50, Lounge.
WARNINGS: None, yet.
SUMMARY: We're gathering a Scooby Gang and Uncle Sam Rey wants you.
NOTES: This is mostly just to ICly hash things out/recruit. If there's anything you think your character would mention/do/react or just have words, hit up the OOC post or contact me for anything! Otherwise, feel free to have your characters tag in, tag each other, ask questions and plan stuff!
(P.S. Feel free to prose or action brackets, whichever is easier for you!)

After the most recent jump, you may have taken notice of the writing in red paint, informing both new and existing Tranquility members of a covert meeting to discuss the cause and events of the Strela Outpost and Arima Colonies. If not, there will be other writings here and there throughout the ship. Just little hints.

The messages are all initialed by R.S. at the end.

WARNINGS: Past trauma. Basically the warning for every thread with her.
SUMMARY: After getting thoroughly, thoroughly unnerved by some boggarts, Fortescue sets out to take the edge off a bit. In... varying ways.
NOTES: Catch-all for pre-jump February. Both prose and brackets are fine, I'll follow your lead.

CHARACTERS: Any and all.
LOCATION: Gravity Couches and beyond.
WARNINGS: Maybe some swearing, or even some violence, and more than likely some implied (and possibly explicit) nakedness.
SUMMARY: Another month, another jump, another round of new faces.
NOTES: A feeling of deep dread greets you as you stumble out of the gravcouch, strong enough to hold you still for a long moment, searching your surroundings for the source of your wariness. Nothing becomes apparent, only your fellow passengers waking up. Eventually you gather the resolve to pick yourself up and start moving, the feeling fading slowly as you progress through routine.

New arrivals will find messages spraypainted across their lockers telling them not to follow their tattoo numbers, and instead to find a room on Floors 001-010.

SUMMARY: An epidemic of mindless violence breaks out among the passengers, inciting unlikely alliances and frantic investigation. Physical assault, flagrant abuse of supernatural abilities, and attempts to sabotage the ship run amok on the ship three days, as the peculiar nature of this epidemic gradually comes to light and the conflict approaches its climax.
