NOTES: Divided by days a la medbay organisation log in the comments!
You're not feeling too well. The last couple of days have been - rough. The medbay seems to be a bit more full than usual, but you're sure it's nothing to be worried about; whatever the illness is, it'll go away once you've rested and gotten a check-up. Right? |
Leonard McCoy | 006 » 052 | BETA shift

I seem to be a bit blue around the gills, Doctor. Mind taking a look?

McCoy had said over the message anyone displaying any of the symptoms should go to the medbay. True to form, however, Ianto had resisted, claiming that he was fine, that it was just a stomach bug, that whatever the ship was coming down with wasn't the same thing. Until the blue started showing up. Luckily, at that point, Jack hadn't had to fight all that much to get him to cooperate, and so there they are]

Good to see somebody exercising a little common sense around here. Any other symptoms?
no subject
I'm running a fever, and my stomach is feeling a bit queasy.
[By a bit queasy, he means he can't keep food down anymore. He also can't balance for shit, but that's fairly obvious.]
no subject
Nausea, vomiting, headache, his ears have been ringing, fever, and now the blue.
[Don't sugar-coat what's going on here, Ianto, this is serious and I'm worried, his tone says, as he moves to hover near the chair that the Doctor pulled in for him, not quite sitting yet]
no subject
When did the symptoms start? What order? Been able to keep anything down at all?
no subject
Started two days ago. Ringing ears first, then headache with a fever yesterday. I didn't eat much because I noticed my stomach was a bit out of sorts, but the nausea and vomiting didn't start until this morning. I haven't eaten anything since. The blue started just now, maybe 30 minutes ago.

What is this, Doctor? I've never seen anything like it. [That he can remember, at least]
no subject
He shakes his head at Jack's question, frowning. ] I hate to say it, but neither have I. We've got theories but until one of them turns into somethin' more substantial, all I can tell you is that we're workin' round the clock analyzing everything we can think to check, and as soon as we know anything useful, we'll let all of you know.
In the meantime- [ His next words are directed at Ianto, and come accompanied with a stern look. ] -after I take some blood I wanna admit you for observation.
no subject
Alright. [He glanced at Jack, knowing that this would do little to ease Jack's worry.] It had to be some kind of mysterious space disease, didn't it? Stomach flu would have been too easy.
no subject
It's never that easy, is it? [He goes for light in his tone, but doesn't quite succeed all the way. He turns back to McCoy] How many people have shown up presenting with this, then?
