Looks like the authorities have apprehended you and have brought you in for processing. After being forced to wait in the waiting room, you're brought to the assimilation room - a terrible white cell, where you're trapped for hours, sentenced to be slowly stripped of your individuality.

He looks around, shaking his head.]

[ Dave doesn't know what to say to that. He's thought of something--this is probably a beta timeline, a bad end, and he'll have to go back and fix things later--but isn't ready to share.

He does nod though. ]

Sounds good. Holding down the creeper fort isn't something I was hoping to do anyway.

Also, same. I managed to get a couple people to the shuttles, so I'm not completely useless. Just botched the third. Fourth time is a charm? I'm pretty sure I heard that before, somewhere.

[ Idle, no sense rambling. ]

[And the sound is cut off with a grunt, as three of the captors grab him by his arms and shoulders, and start dragging him off.]

[He was about to say 'diversions only get one person out, you dweeb', but then Alex is grabbed and dragged off, and suddenly, it doesn't matter anymore. ]
